The Golden Age of Pacifica High School

On Saturday October 20th, Pacifica High School hosted their annual Homecoming dance. The theme of the dance this year was the Golden Age of Atlantis, combining the theme of both Greek mythology and the school mascot, the Triton.

After an impressive win of 49 to 0 against Rio Mesa that Friday night, the student body of Pacifica celebrated and continued their school spirit and fun at Homecoming. This year’s homecoming dance was one of the most impressive turnouts for the school dances in the last couple years, having over 900 tickets sold and 900 people attend.

“I think it was extremely successful,” says Lea Magdaleno, ASB Senior Class President. “The setup looked beautiful and I know a lot of people had a ton of fun, including myself. It was my favorite homecoming in my entire high school experience.”

This fun event lasted from 8 to 11 pm and was beautifully decorated with columns and Greek ornaments, courtesy of ASB. With a photo booth, good music, and delicious refreshments, there was a variety of activities each student could partake in.

Magdaleno finishes off with this: “This homecoming has been the most memorable to me, a lot of planning in ASB went into this event, and we were extremely happy with the outcome. The gym was transformed for one night and we all danced the night away.”
