On Tuesday May 2, Varsity Baseball played a home game against Chanel Islands High School. The boys won with a score of 16-0. The team practiced for their game for about 2 hours every day. They put In the hard work to get the good results they want, like winning they’re games.
When the team starts to get a good lead, “[they] like these types of games the best because [they] get to have more fun and cheer on [their] team mates but still get the job done” stated JC Rodarte, sophomore, #19. The team thought that they did an amazing job at executing. They’re goal was to put up at least 10 runs and they passed that goal. As an individual #18, Jesus Rodarte, junior, stated that “[He] only had one bat where [he] flew out to center and [he] believes he hit the ball pretty hard but [he] thinks he could still do better.”
The boys are now getting ready for their next game, which will be an home game against OHS on May 5th. We wish the best of luck to our Varsity Baseball team on their next few games!
